Large Pond Reline, Peterborough
Category: Liner Seaming
We were contacted by Dencora, a company who own a large pond that is over 200 meters long. The pond had stopped holding water and had become quite an eyesore.
The lining was going to be quite a challenge as the pond had brick pillars that supported the building standing inside the pond as well as several pedestrian bridges along the length of the pond.
Due to the length of the pond the liner needed to be seamed, but the pillars also needed to be seamed around, as well as the large fountain feature at one end of the pond.
When completed we added pre-planted coir rolls that were suspended from the edge of the pond and lots of lilies for added colour in the summer.
Now the feature is a lovely place to sit and enjoy a lunch hour, or to view from the office window.
